Supporting the Creative Economy, Sariayu Participates in Inacraft and Indonesia Modest Fashion Week 2022

In the last week of October, Sariayu supported two events held simultaneously at the Jakarta Convention Center, namely Inacraft and Indonesia Modest Fashion Week 2022 (IMFW). The two events were also organized by the same EO, PT Mediatama Binakreasi and officially opened by the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy (Menparekraf), Sandiaga Uno. He said, in the midst of the global situation where several countries are in recession, Indonesia has the potential to continue to grow. Even so, the public is asked not to be careless and must always be ready to overcome the economic recession. One of the most effective ways is to strengthen SMEs in terms of financing and marketing.

Sandiga added that the creative economy is one of the largest contributors to gross domestic product (GDP). Based on the calculation of the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy, the creative economy sector contributes 7.8 percent to GDP. This number is supported by three main sub-sectors, namely culinary, fashion, and craft, it is also places Indonesia in the top three in the world in terms of contribution to national GDP, behind the United States and South Korea.

As a local product engaged in the beauty industry that also promotes innovation and creativity, Sariayu is well aware of the importance of supporting the creative economy. Therefore, it’s such an honor for Sariayu Martha Tilaar to be able to support the two national events that contribute greatly to the growth and development of the creative economy sector in the country. At Inacraft and IMFW, Sariayu Martha Tilaar supported the appearance of the models who wears clothes created by talented young Indonesian designers through a series of quality products that Indonesian women have trusted from generation to generation.
